Changeover checklist
- Drain and clean the sump. Use a system cleaner if the old emulsion smelt or had biological growth.
- Mix oil into water (never water into oil) at the recommended concentration and check with a refractometer.
- Skim tramp oil regularly and top up with a pre-mixed emulsion, not neat oil.
