Turbine oil care
Turbine oils last for years if you keep water out and oxidation in check. Monitor water content, acid number, oxidation reserve and foaming, and keep the lube-oil system clean. Never top up a turbine with a hydraulic or gear oil. The additive chemistry differs.

Most steam turbines use Servoprime 32, 46 or 68 as specified by the turbine OEM. Geared turbines may need the anti-wear Servoprime T grades.
