SERVO Cyl 680 Steam Cylinder Oil – Servocyl C 680 & M 680
Servocyl 680 is IndianOil's ISO VG 680 steam-cylinder oil, in two types: Servocyl C 680 (compounded, for wet/saturated steam, worm gears, calender and sugar-mill roll bearings) and Servocyl M 680 (for superheated steam where condensate is re-used).

About SERVO Cyl 680
IOCL describes Servocyl C oils as compounded, with excellent oiliness and film strength, resistance to water washout and low deposits at high temperature. It notes their use in calender bearings, sugar-mill roll bearings and worm gears. They are not suitable where steam condensate is re-used. Servocyl M oils have high chemical and thermal stability for superheated steam, and are also used in oil tempering and wire drawing.
