About SERVO Mesh SP 460
IOCL describes Servomesh SP oils as premium industrial gear lubricants with excellent thermal and oxidation stability, good demulsibility and low foaming, and rust and corrosion protection. They are recommended for all heavy-duty enclosed gear drives, with circulation or splash lubrication, running under heavy or shock loads at up to 100 °C. They can also be used for plain and roller bearings, sliding surfaces, chain drives, sprockets and flexible couplings that need an EP oil.

Selection advice
VG 460 is for slow, high-torque drives and hot duty. For bronze worm gears, confirm the oil type with the OEM before using an EP gear oil. IOCL lists compounded Servocyl C oils for worm gear lubrication.
