About SERVO Way 220
IOCL describes Servoway oils as containing tackiness, anti-rust and anti-foam additives. These allow higher machine-tool loading, minimise stick-slip and chatter, and give a better surface finish on the job. They protect against rust, and their good adhesion reduces oil consumption. Recommended for slideways of planers, grinders, horizontal boring machines, shapers and jig borers doing high-precision work, and for oil-can lubrication of gears.

Selection advice
VG 220 clings to vertical ways, where VG 68 would drain away. On horizontal ways with light loads, use Servoway 68.
