About SERVO Mesh SP 220
IOCL describes Servomesh SP oils as premium industrial gear lubricants with excellent thermal and oxidation stability, good demulsibility and low foaming, and rust and corrosion protection. They are recommended for all heavy-duty enclosed gear drives, with circulation or splash lubrication, running under heavy or shock loads at up to 100 °C. They can also be used for plain and roller bearings, sliding surfaces, chain drives, sprockets and flexible couplings that need an EP oil.

Selection advice
ISO VG 220 is the most common enclosed-gear viscosity in Indian plants. It suits most helical and bevel units in the 50–80 °C sump range. Use Mesh SP 320 for slower, more heavily loaded boxes and hot environments. For bronze worm gears, check the OEM's recommendation. IOCL lists Servocyl C oils for worm gear lubrication. Is DIN 51517-3 (CLP) mandatory in your manual? IOCL lists DIN 51517 CLP against Servomesh Plus (anti-micropitting). Tell us and we will quote the Plus grade.
