About SERVO System 32
IOCL describes Servosystem oils as premium anti-wear lubricants made with hydrotreated base stock, recommended for hydraulic and circulation systems across a wide variety of equipment and also used for compressor crankcase lubrication. IOCL notes they are not recommended for turbines or for equipment with silver-coated components. They pass the Vickers V-104C vane pump test and meet IS:10522-1983 (Reaffirmed 2004) and IPSS 1-09-002.

Selection advice
Use ISO VG 32 only when the equipment manufacturer asks for it. A light oil in a hot, heavily loaded system thins out too far and speeds up pump wear. Most general machinery in Karnataka's climate runs on VG 46 or VG 68.
