What goes wrong, and how to prevent it
Keep the hydraulic tank below the oil's comfort zone. Clean coolers, check oil temperature and sample oil every 6 months to catch oxidation early.

Most machines specify ISO VG 46 or 68 anti-wear hydraulic oil. Use Servosystem 46/68, or Servosystem HLP 46/68 where the manufacturer specifies DIN 51524 Part 2.
